New upgrades for 2012! Our 5' fiberglass model SOP contains over 200,000 continuous glass fibers in each pole ensuring superior strength and low weight. The "T" style PVC handle has been sprayed with multiple coats of textured truck bed liner for easy gripping in wet conditions. A 4' hand-braided 550 paracord leash with brass snap makes it easy to attach this SOP to an anchor trolley or pad eye on any kayak. The 3/4" diameter pole also allows for easy pinning through the scupper holes found on most sit-on-top kayaks.

Unlike many SOPs on the market, the PKF pole is extremely strong yet flexible. In rough or windy conditions, this property allows the SOP to act like a "shock absorber" when used in conjunction with the supplied leash. The result - rock solid, dependable anchoring. We also upgraded the package with the addition of a vertical shaped foam grip designed to keep the SOP quiet during when stowed and in use. Lastly, we threw in one of our signature 5" PKF decals for your kayak or vehicle!
